#SemiLongRead Wow. What a day. When I joined Lyft, we were a small, scrappy team in four cities. Our little brand/community team was just four people too. Today, were still every bit as scrappy--just a lot larger. The pink staches now cruise happily through 60 cities, connecting drivers, passengers, and communities. Lyft has introduced me to many of my closest friends, and Im sure there are more to come. Its taken me from SF to LA to Chicago to Boston to Park City for Sundance and Austin for SXSW. Its incredible to see how each city stamps Lyft with its own local flavor and a sense of family and belonging. It fills me with joy to think about all the stories Ive seen and heard from drivers, passengers, and employees whose lives have been improved by simple acts of sharing and recognizing a fellow neighbor. It makes me even happier to think about all the stories to come from our newest cities, and future cities.
