“Senator Burr personally attacked me, and countless other veterans, who have organized to help take care of our own, and he needs to apologize for that,” said James Becker, of Zebulon NC, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans – two of the groups that Senator Burr attacked. “But, where’s Thom Tillis stand on this? If he wants to be our next Senator, he’s going to have to make clear to me and other veterans – does he stand with Senator Burr, or does he stand with us?
