Senator Rodriguez is not even a member of this committee but he was at the Senate hear today to speechify and harass the Texans who were there to advocate for border security. Tonight, I was called by an El Paso area rancher who said that his senator, Jose Rodriguez, blatantly LIED about the true state of affairs in that region. Apparently, Rodriguez knows quite well about the war zone he so vehemently denied and objected to, but he refuses to lift a finger to help Texans. So I have to ask the obvious: is he on the take? Its a fair question to ask considering his willingness to abandon Texans IN THE LINE OF FIRE - literally - risking their lives, liberty, and property while he grandstands like a jackass in Austin.
