Sending all the love in the world to author Ellen C. Oh. Single handedly she let the world know we needed diverse books. But do any of us stop to make sure she is well and in good health? She is probably the strongest force we have right now for diversity in publishing. Know that without her, all the dreams and hopes, and ambitions of seeing ourselves as heroes without having to be apologetic about it, when were not straight, not white, not able bodied, not men, all of that would be silenced without her strong voice. She has my condolences and undying support, and Im deeply disturbed, saddened and disappointed by through all the great she has done, she is suffering such a tragedy as of late. I hope that all of us can find the time in our days to thank her, wish her the best, ask HER if shes doing alright, because in our selfishness we forget she once had a small dream she refused to silence. #weneeddiversebooks
