Sending healing thoughts to Cory Sarich, who was injured in a cycling accident on Monday, July 21st. He was in Invermere, BC, when it happened. From the press release: Sarich was struck by a motor vehicle and was airlifted to a hospital in Calgary, AB. He is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered life-threatening. The full extent of his injuries and the timeline for his recovery and return to the NHL is unclear. All the best to him and his family as he recovers, and many thanks to the hockey gods for protecting his life.
