US, TX, Carrollton Job Description Woot, the original daily deal site, is seeking a Senior Leader of Operations to help us deliver on our vision to surprise and delight our customers every day. This data driven, process oriented leader will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s strategic initiatives across core functional areas: customer service, order fulfillment, warehouse management and our shirt production facility. Background and experience in physical logistics is helpful, but a proven track record of driving innovation in systems, physical and virtual processes, and material handling is required. The Senior Leader of Operations is a key member of the Woot leadership team and will report directly to the CEO. This person will regularly interface with Amazon partners to determine when to leverage Amazon infrastructure and when to build from scratch. As Woot celebrates its 10th Anniversary, this individual has a unique opportunity to shape the future of the Woot customer experience over the next 10 years. Responsibilities for this position include: - Lead a team of 4-5 functional managers focused on driving customer experience and efficiency improvements. - Coach and teach to develop bench strength. - Oversee all business operations with an emphasis on responsiveness, quality, and a superlative customer experience. - Develop, implement and audit operational business processes required to run a digital e-commerce business. - Work closely with partner organizations in planning, developing, and testing new operational improvements. - Create, measure, audit and communicate all key business metrics in weekly, monthly and quarterly business meetings. - Develop a framework for prioritization of projects and enhancements and lead cross-functional teams in execution. - Drive consensus between Ops, Marketing, Tech, and the Business to ensure alignment to corporate goals. - Develop the long term operational vision for Woot and the road map to turn the vision into reality. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Fulfillment Operations, Logistics or Engineering • 10+ years of progressive supply chain, operations management or e-commerce fulfillment experience and should include at least 2 years in senior roles • Project management with experience leading multiple, large-scale e-commerce initiatives Preferred Qualifications • MBA with a concentration in supply chain and 5+ years of supply chain related experience • Experience with supply chain systems (EDI, MRP, shop floor control, etc.) • Experience running supply chain organizations within Amazon as well as previous experience at other retail companies • Experience in using SQL and databases in a business environment • Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt and understanding of Lean Engineering processes amazon.jobs/jobs/277317/senior-leader-operations
