Separation Anxiety is the condition of a dog who becomes anxious, afraid, or even panic stricken when left alone. The first symptom the dog is doing something totally unacceptable while the humans are NOT home that the dog does NOT do when the humans are home. Usually the unacceptable behavior is either that the dog is being very destructive, ie chewing and scratching, or that the dog is defecating multiple times indoors, or barking / howling his head off, or if you are truly unlucky all of these may occur.
