September 1-- “At the Break of Day” In I Corinthians 15 the Apostle Paul tells us he wants to remind us of the gospel he has preached. “For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve,” he wrote in verses 3-5. Today, at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper--a commemoration of the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross. It is a solemn service but also one of celebration.
