September 1 - Hi everyone, just wanted to share a quick update on Sadie girl. She is doing pretty good but she has developed another mast cell lump last week in the same area where one mast cell was removed some time ago. I took her to her doctor for him to examine it. We decided not to aspirate it because it could cause the lump to get furious and could release a lot of chemicals. So I choose not to do that. I ask what we could do, because there will be no more surgeries for my girl, and Mark said we could up the prednisone to 30 mg. every other day instead of 20mg every other day. So that is what Im doing. The lump has reacted in a positive manner and has shrunk a bit already! So thats a good thing. Sadies appetite has been good and the only problem she is having is coming from a side effect from the prednisone, her stools can get like a clay material and bind her up. I must be careful she doesnt get constipated from it. I give her Lactulose and it is working. Before I started the Lactulose, I had to help her one day last week when she was close to being impacted again! Mark told me to bring her in and they would do what they did last month, clean her out, but I did not want to stress her out and go through the pain block and light sedation again, so I just took care of it myself, very gently I might add. She was such a good girl and I know she knew I was only helping her. It wasnt but an hour later, Sadie had a wonderful bowel movement easily on her own. So I must have done something right, lol. Could I ask you all a favor? Would you all please share, share, and share Sadies page - gofundme/SADIES-FIGHT, with all your friends and ask them to share with all their friends? Sadie and I must meet her goal in order for me to get her surgeries paid off and now Im facing cancer meds for her son, Sargent. If a lot of friends could just bombard her fundraiser with any dollar amount, small or large, and no amount is too small, Sadies goal would be met and accomplished and successful, thanks to all of you! You have all shown such graciousness, kindness, love, and generosity, that I can never thank you enough! You are truly Sadies Angels and God will bless your giving hearts for one in need! Bless you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
