September 21st: Bill Murray! Born on this day in 1950, he is an actor and comedian who made a name for himself with Saturday Night Live in the late 70’s and plenty of movies in the 80’s. Starring in Meatballs, Caddyshack, Stripes, What About Bob? and Groundhog Day laid the ground work for this delightful and charismatic comedian’s career. He starred in many films by Wes Anderson like Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited and many more. He gained dramatic acting praise for his films Lost In Translation and Broken Flowers, but my favorite film of his is still Ghostbusters. What is your favorite Bill Murray movie or moment?
