September 24: Astrological Commentaries from Bali. Hello everyone. Here are the rest of my brief comments about the transits of the Moon through the rest of the houses in the natal chart. Happy lunar landings!!! Transiting Moon through the Seventh House: The Moon finds her stay in the Seventh to be very important to the majority of people. It is here that she stimulates our personal relationships. The Moon is very security conscious and awakens our own feelings of insecurity or when we have done the correct emotional homework, the sense of comfort within our safety zones. Look for this time of the month to be concerned with partnerships and our way of dealing with those “special others” in our lives. Transiting Moon through the Eighth House: This is frequently a time of some emotional challenge, some event in our lives that triggers our need to be totally emotionally honest. At times, the transit of the Moon through this domicile will bring up situations regarding finances, usually money that we have in common with another person such as our spouse or business partner. Emotional objectivity and the perspective on this that this brings will certainly come in handy. Transiting Moon through the Ninth House: This is a very liberating part of the horoscope. It points to those activities that widen our horizon, lifting us out of our smaller selves and into a more global understanding about life. Take advantage of the Moon’s passage through the Ninth and do things that broaden your scope: visit a library or a museum, take advantage of a special speaker at your local church or civic organization, and open yourself to your Self. Transiting Moon through the Tenth House: What is the nature of your social responsibilities? Do you feel secure and anchored in your career and place in the world? What do you think that others are expecting of you and can you live up to these expectations and still feel honest with yourself? These are some of the major types of issues that are likely to arise when the Moon passes through the top of your chart each month. Transiting Moon through the Eleventh House: What a friendly place for the Moon to visit! This is a time in which you will be eager to be with people with whom you have a lot in common. These can be your friends or other individuals with shared social, political, or other interests. If you are a member of a club or organization, the time of this lunar passage is usually occupied by such social activities. After all of this activity, you just might welcome the Moon’s visit a more solitary place, the Twelfth House, where you can rest and collect yourself. Transiting Moon through the Twelfth House: “Lay your burdens down.” This is the time to consider what you have done or not done during the previous month since the Moon touched your Ascendant. Need some time alone? The Twelfth House placement of the Moon is a perfect period for contemplation and introspection.
