September 9, 2014 - HL bit.ly/1qF49rq #Haiti | Vote of a bill creating 6 new departments On Monday, deputies before the close of the regular work of the legislature 49th and going on vacation, voted without debate, a bill creating 6 new departments; North would be subdivided in two or North1, North2; South would be divided into South and Southwest; Southeast would be split to create the Department of the East; while the Centre is divided into Upper and Lower plateau. Note that this law should be passed by the Senate before being enacted to apply.
