Serene Rainfall… That day when I was searching sun in the sky, I could not find it but could only locate black clouds marching in the sky, My eyes could not believe that this is going to be the day when first drop of water will meet and form pair, My hears could not accept the sound that made the thundering which shook my chair. But then the wait was over and slowly and gradually the water started meeting the thirsty earth, It was process called quenching the thirst of the athirst land, What a sight it was which made me feel good from within, What a sight it was which made me feel presence of my beloved, Whom I always remember in rain as like rain she also reduces my pain, Serene Rainfall without her is of no meaning to me, As meaning of words gets conveyed only when she helps in understanding to this bee. Even today she has not allowed me to say what I always want, But I even love that as rain also performs without anyone chants, Like rain she also adds shine in my dull eyes, Like rain she also enlightens my soul when life goes through tough ride, Our story has strong resemblance with rainfall, As I don’t know when she will go away leaving my tears to fall, She has made up her mind to go in clocking time, And I am not in any position to hold her back as she terms it crime, Like rain she will go away leaving the earth to face scorching sun, But I will be still waiting for her at door step thinking that she will return. This serene rainfall has lot to showcase, This watery fall has changed wet clay to hard stone, This is my last attempt to tell that please stay back, As after this even I have to pack my bag.
