Serious Question: What law actually prevents the opening of a strip club? The only ones I could find were in the criminal code and Summary Offences but related to public places. 200 Indecent show etc Any person who, knowingly and without lawful in justification or excuse, exhibits any indecent show or performance in any public place, is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction, for a first offence to a fine of $500 or to imprisonment for six months, and on conviction on indictment for a second or subsequent offence to a fine at the discretion of the court or to imprisonment for two years. It is a defence to a charge of any of the offences constituted by this section to prove that it was for the public benefit that the act complained of should be done. Whether the doing of any such act is or is not for the public benefit is declared to be a question of fact. bermudalaws.bm/Laws/Consolidated%20Laws/Criminal%20Code%20Act%201907.pdf
