Serious traffic crash, Bongaree Three people have sustained serious injuries following a two vehicle crash at Bongaree this afternoon. Initial information suggests that around 12.40pm, two vehicles collided on First Avenue. A 21-year-old man, the sole occupant of one vehicle, was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious leg injuries. The passenger of the second vehicle, an 81-year-old woman, was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the second vehicle, a 77-year-old man, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious injuries. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
