Sermon Title: The Power Of Corporate Prayer Scriptural Reference: Matthew 18:18-20, Psalm 133:1-3, II Chronicles 7:14, Genesis 11:6, Acts 12:1-10, Matthew 13:25 Prayer is the act of worship that offers praise and thanks giving to God and also bring our requests to our Maker. Corporate prayer is a joint and collective prayers by a group of people for the intervention of God. Corporate prayer invokes a release of the supernatural presence of God for the manifestation of miracles and breakthroughs. Corporate prayer is that which opens the heavens over the people of God for corporate blessings over everyone. When there is unity in prayer by a group of believers there will be nothing that they cannot accomplish. Lessons From Acts 12:1-10 1. Corporate prayer has the power to release angelic visitation to the people of God. 2. It is the collective prayer of believers that is able to overcome and bring solutions to very difficult and challenging situations of life. 3. When you employ corporate prayer it dismantles the complexities and impossibilities that confronts the believer(s). 4. Corporate prayers invoke special favour and grace for divine assistance. 5. Corporate prayers disarm the enemy of progress and renders him powerless. Lessons From Matthew 13:25 1. If a believer sleeps it means he or she is not vigilant and active in prayer. This inactive state gives the devil the opportunity to overtake and overcome the believer. 2. As believers we must always be in constant prayer so we can win the battle against the forces of darkness and wickedness. 3. Prayer is the only way to prevent the devil from having his way in your life. 4. Also understand that prayer is the most effective medium through which the plans and purposes of God are established in the life of a person or group of people. In Royalhouse Chapel, June is a strategic month of prayer. It is the month in which the people of God rise in might and power to confront and abort all the plans of the forces of darkness.
