Service Information for Jim Devere (Our friend and First Vice Chairman of LD 15) Jim Devere, 70, always a friend, father, husband, brother and son, passed away on March 20th, 2014. Jim was a proud second generation Arizonan. Jim was the life of the party, the party we call Life. He could always be found with a smile on his face, delighted in putting a smile on yours, and bestowed many a sloppy kiss. But most enduring about Jim is his fathering and friendship to everyone in his life – this goes on for us all. He lived on through the passing of his parents and a sister and is survived by his loving wife Carolee DeVere, daughter/son-in-law Shelley DeVere and Brian Zacher, son Kevin DeVere, granddaughter Kendyl DeVere, brothers/sisters-in-law Ed and Pat DeVere, Bill and Kathy DeVere, Roy and Becky DeVere, Mike and Kathie DeVere, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Wednesday March 26th, 2014 at Scottsdale Bible Church, Cactus Campus located at 2501 E Cactus Rd (near Cactus & Cave Creek Rd). Services at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Venture Church, 15410 N 67th Ave #5, Glendale, AZ 85306 or Hospice of the Valley. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary.
