Set of number blocks: free to good home who will use and appreciate them!! Designed for an assignment for teaching children with special needs. Set of hand crafted, hand painted (a true group effort thanks to some helpful family hands in the shop!) different coloured number blocks designed as a physical representation of the numbers 1-10. Flash cards and pamphlet included. I took the education assistant and community support worker program last year and had big plans of keeping this and using it for my job. Sometimes life has its own plans though and due to a drastic career change out of the field and into something new, I fear these blocks will just sit on my shelf. I put way more hours into this than any sane person would for an assignment worth 15% of your grade but whats done is done! It honestly pulls my heart strings to try to send these to a new home but I believe is it the right thing to do. I know its picky for a set of blocks to have an ideal home life but I would really love to see these go to a home with school aged kid(s) with special needs who could use the math help or someone who works with children who could use the extra visual help with learning number concepts. I hope someone else can take them home and know they are putting them to good use! If youre this person/family or you know someone, please let me know!
