Setting the record straight for 3 Miami Dolphins on the undefeated 1972 team! The news media has become a disgrace! Read the true facts from a brave black female reporter! AT LEAST THREE ’72 MIAMI DOLPHINS REFUSE OBAMA’S WH INVITATION. MSNBC PULLS RACE CARD Posted 08.20.13 by Jennifer Burke, TPNN Online Editor Legendary Miami Dolphins DT, Manny Fernandez, Not a Fan of Obama’s Policies Former President Richard Nixon, apparently too busy covering up his own scandals (Watergate), never invited the only undefeated NFL team in history, the 1972 Miami Dolphins, to the White House after their Super Bowl victory. Obama, buried in scandals that make Watergate look like Sunday School (Benghazi, IRS, AP, Rosen, etc.), and never one to let a photo-op go to waste, is managing to find time out of his busy golfing schedule to rectify this great wrong. Most of the historic team, considered the greatest in NFL history, have accepted Obama’s invitation, but at least three of them, including defensive tackle Manny Fernandez, have publicly turned-down the invitation, citing strong disagreement with the direction Obama is leading the country. Said Fernandez, in explaining the reason for refusing Obama’s White House invitation to the Sun Sentinel, “I’ll just say my views are diametrically opposed to the president’s.” Fernandez politely wished his fellow teammates well, but didn’t elaborate on specifics, saying, “Enough said. Let’s leave it at that. I hope everyone enjoys the trip who goes.”Former Dolphins guard Bob Kuechenberg and Center Jim Langer are the other two former players who are standing on their principles. Added Kuechenberg, “I want to be careful, because mom said if you have nothing good to say about someone, then don’t say anything. I don’t have anything good to say about someone.” Langer hit a little harder, saying, “We’ve got some real moral compass issues in Washington. I don’t want to be in a room with those people and pretend I’m having a good time. I can’t do that. If that [angers] people, so be it.”While MSNBC covered the story on NOWwith Alex Wagner, in typical far-left wing media fashion, they had to put a racial spin on things; leaving out key facts and the statement by arguably the most dominant and well-known of these three – Manny Fernandez. To put things in perspective, immediately after the George Zimmerman/ Trayvon Martin altercation which resulted in Martin’s death, MSNBC, as did so many others, immediately made the case about race by calling it a white on black crime. One would not know, however, by Zimmerman’s last name that he is actually half Hispanic. When this news came out, in order to fit their racially divisive strategy, they began referring to Zimmerman as a White Hispanic. This from a ‘news’ outlet that continuously refers to our bi-racial president as 100% black. With Zimmerman, it was easy enough to get away with calling him white. While his complexion is a bit darker, as long as they were not showing his picture, his name would lead you to believe their initial charge of him being Caucasian. However, with Manny Fernandez, the second you see his name, it is apparent that he is of Hispanic descent. As a conservative who happens to be black, I know all too well the left’s attempt to marginalize the opinions of conservatives of color. Our stand as conservatives doesn’t fit the left’s notion that all minorities must be Democrats.Hernandez’s statement, as to why he refused to accept President Obama’s invitation to the 1972 Miami Dolphins to join him at the White House, is the most impassioned and direct. He did not mince words and MSBNC obviously wanted to avoid giving a quote from Manny Fernandez so that they could continue their typical race-baiting narrative that has them tanking in the ratings. In fact, while reading the quote from Jim Langer, Wagner made sure to place emphasis on the words ‘those’ when reading the words ‘those people’. As a black person, I can tell you that the word ‘those people’ is most frequently utilized to disparage blacks. However, if you fully read Langer’s quote, it is obvious that he is referring to corrupt people in Washington with moral compass problems. No where did he mention race.I applaud these three gentlemen for taking a stand based upon principle. It is their right to determine whether or not to accept an invitation, for any reason. Had this happened during a Republican presidency, Wagner would have likely followed the typical MSNBC form and praised the individuals in question for their brave stand. Instead, she refers to them snidely as “anti-heroes,” which to her must mean disagreeing with Obama’s tyrannical policies.Facts are inconvenient truths for the folks at MSNBC. They would rather continue the work of operating as a shield and mouthpiece for Obama, pushing his progressive, Marxist agenda, than to operate as a legitimate news outlet. As they drop further and further into obscurity on the ratings front, they continue to up their ante in their disdain filled mockery of any individual that disagrees with the president.
