Seven years ago tonight about this time I was waking up on a ventilator after what was supposed to be a routine heart cath didnt go so well. I will always be indebted to Dr. Collier for arriving at the hospital to finish some paperwork at the exact time that I needed his surgical expertise. Was it coincidence that he was there when the main artery in my heart that was discovered to be 99.9% blocked was completely blocked when they pushed the catheter through necessitating emergent open heart surgery? Looking back I can see Gods hand in all of the events the previous year. Why didnt I infarct at any one of the 4-5 times over that year when I had that excruciating pain? Any one of those could have been fatal. God had me in the right place (working in the ER) at His time with an excellent, caring doc who got me where I needed to be and supplied the skilled staff to fix me!! And thru all that, I have NO heart damage. God is so good! He does heal people both physically and spiritually. (Even though it took 3 more years to get me on my knees to ask Him to be Lord over my life.) He is also a patient God. :). Looking back over my life I can see so many times when things happened at the right time to truly make a difference or change the direction in my life. Some good and some not so good that I regret but HE put me through it for His ultimate plan. He is waiting for YOU to realize that you need Him. You definitely wont regret asking Him to be your Savior!
