Several friends around me went to protest yesterday. At first when they told me about it, i mentally supported them but never had any high hopes as the past protests were always useless, no such thing as a calm protest. But after what i saw yesterday, I am very impressed by Hong Kong people. Hong Kongers were so calm and peaceful. All they wish for is their freedom without showing any violence. My heart broke when i saw policemen firing several rounds of tear gas, pepper spray, into the crowd and dragging young students across the ground. Hong Kongers were all unarmed! Just simply pushing forward. Why would you do this to them... Friends and Hong Kongers who are still protesting. Please take care of yourselves.
