Several interesting questions come into play here. First, what is the role of privacy in keeping and working with our rights? Even beyond this, what happens when aspects of our lives & our families that hd, at one time been considered variations or misfortunes, become seen as deficiencies, shames, or even threats to the common good? Where, in this age of meta-data, are we to turn (socially & culturally speaking), when the very possibility of privacy & personal or familial secrets seems to be evaporating? These are some the issues at play in this book.
