Several months ago I saw a young lady in a dream. She was standing behind a curtain on a stage. The desire of her heart was to sing on stage in front of large audiences. She had hoped and prayed for so long that that day would someday come. The day had finally come as she stood behind the curtains, waiting for her cue to step out on the stage and audition for a position as a singer with a well-known and highly respected company. In the dream, I saw lots of people standing behind the scene waiting and watching for her to step out on the stage and sing. She stepped out on the stage and started singing. She had such a lovely voice!!! But, almost halfway through the song she fumbled her words and made mistakes. Feeling ashamed, angry and disappointed in herself, she gave up and ran from the stage. In this dream, I saw the figure of a man standing to the side of the stage watching all that was taking place. He was a man of great stature and highly respected. I realized that he was the owner of the company. And then, it became clear to me that this man was JESUS!!! I heard Him say, concerning the girl, “TELL HER TO FINISH.” What really mattered to Him was that she finished the song, and He would give to her the desire of her heart. In the dream, I saw her peers run after her saying, “Come back! Come back and finish the song!!! I saw her walking further and further away in the distance, and she did not hear them calling out to her. SHE HAD GIVEN UP AND WALKED AWAY, NOT REALIZING THAT SHE WAS ONLY MINUTES AWAY FROM HER BREAKTHROUGH!!! As I watched all of this in the dream, my heart was crying out, “COME BACK!!! “COME BACK!!! When I woke up from this dream, the Lord spoke these words to my heart: “Someone has been seeking God for something that is the desire of their heart. God has heard you; and He has opened a door for you to walk through to your breakthrough. The enemy will put pressure on you to try to shake your confidence and cause you to give up and walk away from what God has promised you. Your fumbles/mistakes along the way WILL NOT keep you from obtaining what God has promised you. God’s mercy is available to you (Hebrews 4:16). What really matters to God is that you CONTINUE TO TRUST HIM AND THAT YOU NOT GIVE UP AND WALK AWAY. KEEP ON PRESSING TOWARD YOUR BREAKTHROUGH!!! YOUR DUE SEASON IS A LOT CLOSER THAN YOU THINK!!!” I pray that this word will encourage and bless someone today!
