Several threads and conversations and questions have been raised about why I continue doing what we are doing even though We know that they are profiting from good people hard earned money... Why we are pulling good broke gentle riding horses from feedlots and kill buyers rather than going and purchasing directly from the auctions ... My Reasoning is this: I dont think people realize that 85% of the horses ran through the auctions are other kill buyers horses ~ So either way its a kill kill situation Auction or feedlot the kill buyers make money both ways regardless of where they are sold. Yes they still go to Mexico with full trucks of horses regardless of what we do And thats why I dont just go in and snap a bunch of pics of just Any horse But Instead I try pulling the horses who trust Humans... Whove been loved by a family... Who are still good sound and gentle riding horses ... Horses that can make a wonderful riding horse and family companion Ours is a win/win situation :) Its all I know to do until the political side gets the bills and laws changed to keep these beautiful family riding horses out of the danger of being slaughtered. I hope that helps to clear up things just a little bit I guess this is kinda like our mission statement. ;)
