Several years ago I wrote a Thank You letter to the Royal Bank because they had always had amazing customer relations and made me feel like I was dealing with real people instead of a big money-making machine. Since then I have noticed a gradual decline in my level of satisfaction with the service provided. The final straw? Today I called to plead with them to reverse a $45 NSF I received because a $2.84 automatic withdrawal that was supposed to go through my PayPal shifted over to my RBC account and put me into overdraft by $2.64. (Yah, Im really rolling in it!) Unfortunately there was absolutely nothing they could do. So now, even though I have been a client with them since I opened my Little Leo account as a child, even though I had always recommended them highly, even though I wrote them that Thank You letter, I think Ive had enough. Are there ANY good banks out there?
