Shahid M. Pasha says, Dear Dr. Bhampa Rai: You have completley ignored the role of the United States in the Bhutanese refugees crisis. Don’t you remember United States pressuring Bhutan Government in late December of 2003 for joint verification process? I would like to remind you the fact that Bhutan agreed to joint verifcation process only after United States threatenned to suspend its aid to Bhutan in 2003. I have read your comments somewhere accusing USA for being behind the refugee crisis, and taking side with Bhutan regime. Why you are so against America? Please let all of those Bhutanese refugees come to USA who want to come here. Please let them have a betetr future. Not all Bhutanese refugees are Doctors like you, and are not as rich as you are. You always will have tons of money with you, no matter where you live or where you move. But poor Bhutanese refugees do not have the kind of money you have. So, please stop opposing resettlement.
