Shake and pull together the pieces that have been broken. A thousand shards mistaken for diamonds that twinkle like stars then fall into an abyss called prayer. Theyll cut you as youre picking them up, trying to puzzle yourself back together again...but the question becomes: why would God make you so fragile that all the kings horses and men break you trying to put you together? Psychoanalyze and taunt you for not wanting your hands cut any longer. The heart grows tired of self mending. Perhaps the pieces are meant to stay broken; mesh with the earths mud until coal. Become something better, like a diamond, in another lifetime. Heaven.
