Shame Shame !!! Bangladesh sacked a top minister for speaking truth...after his criticism of the Muslim pilgrimage of Hajj triggered protests by Islamists. Abdul Latif Siddique, the Telecommunications minister, who is in New York accompanying Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, made the following golden comments: 1) I am dead against Hajj and Tablighi Jamaat. Two million people have gone to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj, Siddique said. 2) Hajj is a waste of manpower. Those who perform Hajj do not have any productivity. They deduct from the economy, spend a lot of money abroad. 3) He also said Abdullah’s son Muhammad had introduced the Hajj as a means of livelihood for Saudi Arabians who, he said, were ‘robbers’.
