Shame on Rotimi Ameachi for his lack of knowledge of History of Economic and Development projects in Nigeria. The points remain: The ideas of economic development in the South for growths, did not come from the Northern Leaders! Scholars could / should check out in Federation Government Gazzeth Publications for details on the Planning, Procedures, Processing, Funding, and Executing of Fiscal-Economic Development Capital Projects in Nigeria. Some cases in reference of authors of ideas of capital projects development include Governor Ibekwue of Old Imo State, attempts at building a Petrol Chemicals Industries in Imo and seeking funding from the Federal government during Shagari Regime, did materialize before Buhari/Idiagbon dictatorial powers idea threw the project into the trash. Also, the Governor Jakande idea of Metro Rail Line Services, a Mass Transit Capital Projects in Lagos was similarly washed-down the drain by the Buhari - Idiagbon idea. Yet, as of these days, the same President Jonathan from Bayelsa State is building speed rail from Kaduna to Abuja; and the coastal railway from Calabar to Rivers, Edo, Ondo, down to Lagos. The point is: Nigerian citizens must avoid the jeopardy of being mal-informed into sharing blames onto culprits; and misinformed/ Ill-Informed into giving due credit into undeserved. Moreover, when in all considerations, the authors of good ideas that worked for capital projects for all, ought be duly credited as worthy. While shameful discredit must be apportioned as assigned to authors of havoc ideas such as the destructive Boko Haram. And as a matter of note, guess, whose idea was it to privatize oil wells by oil blocks sharing; and building private oil refineries in foreign countries to import petroleum products and collect government subsidies; while all the four refineries in the South are neglected into disrepair/ breakdown and slated for liquidation,... if not the idea of obvious culprits from known areas noted for Cabals-Dens.?
