A doctor in England responded to a patient who told him she was suicidal by saying: You can go and jolly well do it now. He then followed this up by saying: If you dont know how to do it, its on the internet how to do it. Vulnerable people should receive support from their doctor, this is a shocking display of mental health discrimination and falls far below the standard we should expect from our doctors. At See Me we want to work with health professionals to make sure these type of incidents dont happen. Today he has been suspended for three months. After that period he will have the chance to prove that he is no longer impaired and fit to practice.
