Shameful Day for Indian Media - Senior Journalist Rajdeep Sardesai Provokes... Calls a Viewer an A**H*** - Fights With Them - Then Blames the Crowd In a shameful day for Indian Media senior journalist and former CNN-IBN anchor Rajdeep Sardesai indulged in a fist fight with Non-Residential Indians, at Madison square garden in New York. Rajdeep was in New York covering the Narendra Modi visit to US, and he ended up getting the crowd angry by asking questions that the NRI community felt were anti-India and against the Indian Prime Minister. Here is an account of the questions asked by Rajdeep Sardesai and the reply he got, sent in by a reader who was present at Madison square where the scuffle took place. Rajdeep Sardesai: Do you think 1 man can change India? Viewer: Yes! If 1 woman can loot India, 1 man can change India. Rajdep *scoots quickly* Rajdeep to another young NRI: Do you think he is a PM of only one community? Young NRI: What kind of question it is? Havent you heard Vasudhaiva Kutumbhakam, Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah and Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas in his speech? Rajdeep: No, tell me what do you think of 2002 riots? Young NRI: Do you respect Supreme Court of India?? It was supercussion of Godhra incident, Modi has nothing to do with that. Rajdeep to camera man - As you can see, Ye Communal Hinduon ka event ban chuka hai... errr.. At this the crowd lost patience and started shouting slogans like Modi-Modi Bharat Mata ki Jai Rajdeep Gaddar hai Following this the senior journalist Mr Sardesai called a spectator A** Hole and the spectator responded in kind. As you can see in the video below Mr. Sardesai then came back and launged at the person who called him A** Hole This is indeed a very sad day for India and Indian media, where one of the most well know figures in Indian television media and senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai ended up allowing his personal bias against Narendra Modi to cloud his judgement and indulge in a fight with NRIs who had come to support their Prime Minister. We do not condone violence against journalists, but at times, in this case the journalist in question was way out of line with his questioning and it was him who landed the 1st punch and not the person who is being blamed in the main stream media. What happened was not only shameful, but also goes on to show how low main stream Indian journalism has fallen to. We are sharing this video, as we strongly feel that the truth needs to be told, which sadly the main stream media has chosen to tell, only partially.
