Shaquille O Neal and Allen Iverson started their NBA careers around the same time frame. Both had successful careers in the NBA. Both have received accolades for their performance. Both became very wealthy. But today, Allen Iverson is BROKE, waiting on an annuity from Reebok that wont mature until he is 50 years old.(Hes 41 now.) Meanwhile, Shaq(or Dr. ONeal as hes professionally known) is everywhere: Whether on TNT as a color analyst for the NBA, doing commercials and carving out a success story beyond the court.(Oh, by the way, did I mention that his net worth is well over $250 million?) The point to all this? Anyone can taste success, but it takes a special breed to savor it. Staying on top is much harder than getting there...but once you arrive, the real work begins. Remember:success isnt for the lucky.Success comes to the PREPARED.
