Sharing this for so many reasons. The first, a very selfish one, I miss his voice and this interview is the greatest overall representation Ive seen online. The second, I am Canadian and a child of immigrants and am so freaking proud. I love and appreciate Canada and simply dont believe any person who chooses this beautiful country should have to pledge allegiance to the Queen of England (yes! Thats an ACTUAL rule!!) The third, how dope are his protest chants? My Babu (Grandfather in Swahili) was always making up cool songs and raps. The first freestyle rapper I ever battled to be honest :) In ever loving memory.
