Sharing this powerful op-ed by Jack Allen in the Standard-Examiner. He hits the nail on the head when he talks about wholl benefit from State control of public lands: No one should be misled by the use of any other term other than “select few.” Virtually all members of the Republican-controlled Legislature, promoters of the mining and drilling industry, commercial real estate developers, and rural communities that want the land for their own local use, have all argued for an agenda that will result in precisely that control by a “select few.” Is this the Utah we envision? Is this the fate of our state? Our Utah land is not for sale. No matter what partisan politicians say - no matter how they try and sell us privatization. $500 million of our taxpayers dollars have already been spent on this folly. Please LIKE & SHARE if youve had enough of entitlement. Our elected officials should be the custodians of public property. They are NOT the agents & auctioneers of our resources for a select few. Not Left. Not Right. Forward!
