Sharing with permission - If you ever need to advocate for yourself: Sitting in the front seat of my van at lunchtime, nursing my cranky teething baby. Nothing is hanging out. Kids are playing at the park beside Plainsmen Arena. Only other vehicle is a work van 50 feet away, no one else at the park. Guy jumps out of the van, walks over, knocks on window. Suggests I should cover up bec its inappropriate to breastfeed in public, and hes eating lunch. ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME? This is Canada and I can breastfeed my child anytime, anywhere, WITHOUT covering up. Certainly in the comfort of my own van. I totally lost my sh*t on him. Ended my rant by pulling off my shirt and tossing it to him suggesting he cover his own eyes while he eats in public. He dropped it horrified and literally ran away. My husband replied good for her! and clapped when I read this status to him tonight. The absolute arrogance and nerve of some people! I hope he thinks twice before harassing another Mother and child - Lisa
