Shark attack at Dawn, swimmer now is gone. Diver got it wrong, surfer taken down. Nothing left to see, predator will feed. Yearly migration, thatâs the way it is. Following their prey, we got in their way. Nothing personal, they donât have to pay. Stories of rogue sharks, nothing but a laugh. Media fear campaign, boost their own ratings. . Blood fills the water all around, smashing into prey without a sound. Arms and legs removed donât feel a thing, bleeding in the water cannot swim. . Harvest food. Only food. . Multiple attacks across, Aussie coastlines all the time. Big bull sharks and great white sharks, Itâs their nature as predators. Eat their fill and then move on, hunting everything they can. Preying on fish, whales and seals, accidentally take a man. . Take a man. Because they can. Itâs their way. Donât have to pay. . Hunting down the shark will never bring them back. Drum lines donât work and vengeance is a joke. Minimise the risk it could happen to you. If a shark took your sister what would you do? . Educate the public on basic safety. Donât swim in shark season you could pay the penalty. Avoid locations where you know theyâre going to be. Donât vengeance kill a shark just move on and grieve. . Weâre in their territory. . Vigilantes hunting down every shark they find. Local tourism complaining about decreased business. Media whipping people into a fear driven panic. Making money boosting ratings selling newspapers. . You put yourself at risk when you swim in the sea. We add ourselves to the food chain and weâre not at the top. Weâre at the mercy of the apex predators.
