Sharmalans question : Kattabommu also called as veerapandiya kattabomman . so can we call him as pandiya ? Our reply : kallar kula thondaiman came in vijayanagra period. This zamin given by raja sethupathi due to their (kallars) service and the marriage. So they are not pure thondaiman clan..every scholar told that they dont have any relation with thondaiman clans like karunagaran or aranthangi .. So can we call you as thondaiman ?
