Sharon Moles THOUGHTS AND MUSINGS ABOUT THE NEAR FUTURE: OH, WOW! I get READY to shut down my computer for the day, and then some other piece of BREAKING NEWS (which has prophetic impact) shows up. I read it, discern it, and decide to share it...and before I know, yet another hour flies past. THIS IS HOW FAST THE NEWS OCCURS (and I MEAN THAT NEWS which has prophetic importance!!!). I have NEVER seen it coming as RAPIDLY and POWERFULLY as its been in these past two weeks. (Its even eclipsed the threats of WW3 as it concerned THE EVENTS surrounding Syria last October.) Right now, the news is HITTING on so many various fronts: The push for a peace accord between Israel and the Palestinians--preferably by the END of April. Increased threats from people like Abbas--who declare that they will NEVER recognize Israel as a legitimate state. Syria and the Gaza strip remain on the table--having bombed Israel, or wreaked enough havoc, to incur the response of the Israeli military. Threats of WW3 which now center around Russia and Ukraine (because of WORLD POWERS who want to control the oil--linked to their GREEDY desire to grab ALL the money from its sale to world markets). The threat of economic collapse--as bankers die from suicides and markets totter. The hijacking of a passenger jet--with threats of it being used as a weapon of mass destruction. On and on and on it goes. If it werent for my rock solid faith in Jesus and the truthfulness of His Word, I would be a basket case by now. Praise Him that I KNOW peace in the midst of all the upheaval. (You can KNOW that same PEACE by keeping YOUR hearts and thoughts CENTERED in Him.) How do people who DO NOT know Jesus remain sane, I wonder? Oh, thats right! Most do not KNOW, or DONT CARE, what happens in the world. Theyre LULLED to sleep by reassuring television news and propaganda. Or they DWELL upon their desires to get ahead, or perhaps the next party, movie or ballgame they plan to enjoy. As we approach several deadlines in the near future (most of them to be here by April), I believe the current news will SPEED UP and INTENSIFY, even MUCH MORE than we see it right now. Hang on tight to Jesus...the next few weeks will be hairy, scary and wild...and our faith will be tested (unless Jesus appears quickly to take us to those promised mansions in heaven). Oh, Lord come. Maranatha!!! I know Ive shared the following scripture many times, but it BARES repeating. Jesus said in Luke 21:28--And when these things BEGIN to come to pass [those end times SIGNS--and the prophecies being set-up for their eventual fulfillment], THEN LOOK UP, and lift up your heads; for YOUR REDEMPTION draws nigh. THESE THINGS HAVE MORE THAN JUST BEGUN!!! Weve been watching them develop, especially since 2008--thats now 6 YEARS of witnessing THE SIGNS increase--as time RUSHES by. How much stronger and more rapidly do they need to come before Jesus descends into the air and shouts Come up hither? I have no clear answer to that. All I can say is WATCH. AND KEEP WATCHING--because the TIME DRAWS NEAR for all these things to BE FULFILLED, exactly as God has declared. EVEN SO, COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS. WE LONG TO SEE YOU FACE TO FACE.
