She asked a non Hijabi: “do you fast Ramadhan?” She answered her:”yes! Of course, with no doubt!” “So why aren’t you wearing Hijab?!” “well I will wear it in shaa Allah …I am just not convinced about it right now!” “but isn’t The Lord Who ordered you to fast is the SAME Lord who ordered you to wear the Hijab (to cover yourself) ?!” “well …. Yeah!!” The Hijabi answered her with an Ayah from Qur’an:“Then do you believe in a part of the Book and reject the rest?!!” The non Hijabi remain silent for a while then said:”I will wear it in shaa Allah, when I will grow older!” ”but dear! Do you guarantee that you’ll live till the next year? Till tomorrow? Till the next hours or minutes?! Dear sister, you can’t guarantee that you will live till you grow older.Unfortuna tely, you have now that strong desire of living your Dunya to the fullest and enjoy it till the end but this life is temporary, your beautiful body which you want to expose today to non Mahrams, will be eaten one day by worms in the grave so don’t exchange the blessings of Jannah by the temporary enjoyment of Dunya. Be among the ones Allah talked about in Qur’an the “(believers) who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter” May Allah guide myself & yourselves to what pleases HIM ameen !
