“She ran away” She left me, I was left with nothing Nothing to love, nothing to think of… She was all over my thoughts,’ imagined the future with her Tried hard to put her in, even where she is not needed but she ran away, with nothing but my heart and courage, Courage to stand and love again Pain of losing her haunting the piece of mind I’m left with She is taking over even when she is not around Around the world she might be with my heart But I’m still waiting for her as an African child Awaiting a Father who might not come back from War Wish I could write her a letter but I need an Address Maybe a phone call will do but she changed her numbers I only need a co-incident to meet her, if miracles can’t work She ran away, still don’t know why She told me, she was going for shopping Find out Ive been shop-lifted my heart No one to give me answers; she is the only witness I have She ran away with the only evident of my love Evident that can prove I can love No one will ever love She ran away with it #Poem by Matthew BlackMatt Chauke #Word
