She walks out into the night Thinking she is alone Deeper and deeper into the darkness she goes She stops frozen as she hears a growl She’s frozen to the spot Looking all around her for a source of the sound Her mind is racing a million miles a minute The source of the growl could not be found Taking a deep breath, she walks on very slowly Watching everything around her with a careful eye Knowing deep inside, whatever watching her wasn’t human Looking towards the woods she sees something dark pass by The very minute she sees him pass by She feels his eyes searching every inch of her Knowing she should be scared, knowing she should run But something inside of her made her realize he would leave her be With her protector near she knows she’s out of reach from harm With him watch and keeping her out of danger, she knows she has nothing to fear She feels deep down she should know him But she cannot place exactly from were From what she saw, took her breath away.. For what she saw was the amber color of his wolf eyes ..
