She was not legally intoxicated (bac 0.042). She was not reasonably intoxicated. She was not a harm to herself or others. She was not belligerent. I was there to pick her up to assist her home. Officer Rhoades arrested her and transported her to pontotoc county justice center. She was strip searched. She was detained knowingly sober for 10 1/2 hours against her will and mine. She was detained and strip searched after officer potter, Officer oconner, officer Rhoades, and a jailer viewed the bac of .041. I contend that the officers abused the public intox law. My actions are in response to this arrest. As a result I was terminated from the Ada fire department for workplace harassment. I hold the city of Ada liable. The Ada police department liable. The pontotoc county justice center liable, several individuals liable, and the ada evening news liable. What has happened here is wrong and illegal on all counts. I have an arbitration hearing on December 10,11 regarding my job termination. I have worked for you for over ten years without complaint. I have done many things to help many of you. Will you sit idly by? Or will you demand my reinstatement?
