She was the first one up and the last one to bed. She has busied herself in the kitchen preparing three meals and fussing over snacks and coffee for her family (and me), visited/walked to the hospital THREE times (not for herself but for others), hiked up the road to check on the new construction going on, caught her preaching to a group of Haitian women at the church, walked around running errands with me, then taking time to answer e-mails and checking the internet for what is going on in the world after she makes and serves dinner. So at 9:30 tonight after she had beat her husband and I in two rounds of Rummikub she says, I think I might retire early tonight. I just cant figure out why I dont have much energy. Her husband laughs saying, NINE ZERO. I needed a nap just watching her today!
