He said if you say knowledge is forbidden then you have committed shirk because Allah says seek knowledge. Allah also said the one who has knowledge is not the same as the one who has no knowledge. Allah says the difference of those with knowledge and without knowledge is like the dead and the living. So sheikh jafar asked boko haram are you saying knowledge is forbidden even though Allah made it clear for the muslim to get knowledge and use it to benefit himself and others? Then he said if its the institution of knowledge you are against like the free mixing and secular curriculum like chemistry and physics and biology and geography and meficine etc why dont you then work to change them through dawah. There are many islakic institutions and schools that abide to the shariah, why dont you struggle and change things instead of declaring knowledge is forbidden and asking people to destroy their degrees and cetificates. Then boko haram killed him because they had no answer to his arguments. If they really had knowledge and they were not ignorant, they would have realized these secular subjects were created and perfected by muslims like ibn sina and ibn haytham in islamic spain. after teaching it to the europeans their rennnaisance began and this western civilization dominated. A civilization that would never have existed if the quran and the sunna did not exist. Boko haram are exactly like the maitatsine group, anti islamic movements sponsored by outside forces to destroy islam from within by doing the exact opposite of what islam teaches after pretending they are muslim. They rape muslim women, isnt that enough evidence? They rape muslim women then cut off their heads. Even Al Qaeda with all the slanders against it were never accused of rape. When the Taliban captured Yvonne Ridley the british reporter, did they rape her? No. They released her. After treating her so well, a direct contrast to america and britains treatment of prisoners in Abu Ghraib and Bagram prisons, she converted to islam and is a full time practicing muslim. How many western people were kidnapped by criminals, especially in Syria, saved by Al Qaeda and released? These boko haram need to be countered and the government are not the answer, fulani are.
