Shekhinah MEANING BY ISLAMIC TRADITION, AND CHRISTIAN JUDAISM In the Islamic tradition, Sakinah which means serenity and inner peace. Sakina word wrote about six times in the Quran, which is the Surah al-Baqarah: 248, At-Tawbah: 26 and Surah al-Fath: 4, 18 and 26. In the text of the verse in question, Sakinah ALLAH Subhana Hu Wataala comes into the hearts of the prophets and those who believe to be strong and not be afraid of opposition, resistance, tests, trials or misfortunes. [2 Kings 3:15] [Shabbat 30b] Shekinah is associated with the transformation of the spirit of God regarded as a source of predictions. Then you come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines, and it will come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that you meet with the band prophet, down from a high place with a psaltery, and a tambourine , and pipe, and a harp, before them, and they shall prophesy. The Prophet made a reference to the metaphorical vision of Gods presence, especially in the context of the Tabernacle or Temple, with figures such as thrones or robes filling the Sanctuary, which has traditionally been associated with the presence of the Shekinah. Shekhinah, often in the plural, is also present in some gnostic writings written in Aramaic, such as the writings of the Manichaean and Mandaean, and others. In writing, shekhinas described as hidden aspects of ALLAH Subhana Hu Wataala, rather like the Amahrāspandan of Zoroastrianism. Gustav Davidson, American poet Gustav Davidson listed Shekhinah as an entry in his reference work A Dictionary of Angel, stating that he was the personification of Metatron female. Lois Roden, the Branch Davidian Seventh-Day Adventist Church is acknowledged as the original teacher / prophet they 1978-1986, put emphasis on womens spirituality and the feminine aspect of God.
