Sheykhul al-islaam ibn taimiyya rahimahullah and infact many islamic scholers said whoever congratulates christains or accept Gift from them on the day of their eid (chrismas) for the purpose of their celebration also believed in trinity which is prophet Isah (A.s) is a son of Allah, which is not but if gift is given to u anyother day can it be accepted hence it is not for the porpose of their celebration. Allah knows the best, please we should all try to be dutiful to this beautiful religion...may Allah make us to have better understanding (Aameen).
