Shit. Shit. Shit. Too tired to write. Im okay. Everyone I know is okay. The only injury Ive heard is a U City cop got shot in the arm out in the county. I hope the officer a speedy recovery. Ferguson, well, there is too much to say. My heart goes out to my North County people. Much love. They need it right now. Shit got hectic on the southside. So much emotion. No serious injuries that Ive heard, but there were clashes in the streets. No arson or major damage that I have heard of. There is some other bullshit but I will get into that later. Its hard to write. But I did see some beautiful sites. Some real professionalism as well. I did not close my doors even though I was instructed to by the police. I stood right in front of my door. We stayed open despite the tense standoff outside in the front. At least for tonight civility ruled inside & outside of my tavern in my particular corner of the southside. Lets focus on open dialogue, working together, civility, pushing forward and respecting each others voices. Peace.
