Shooting Day #3 – Saturday, 30th of August Shooting hours: 8pm – 1am Crew: Atli, Darri, Femke, Raj & Stephan Actors: Benjamin & Torsten Location: Bankwerkerij & IJ canal We used Atlis apartment as base camp since the apartment sits on the street we were planning to film in. Torsten and Benjamin arrived at 8pm and Femke was in charge of stylizing their look. The two actors showed great chemistry and commitment during these hours as we rehearsed and modified our approach. Raj made a great move by buying strawberry juice and ketchup from the supermarket since we needed to create fake blood. It looked pretty real but the same cant be said about the smell! Torsten had to catch the last train from Central Station at 12.30pm so we made sure to film the stuff he appeared in first. His work concluded at 12pm sharp. We kept on shooting the final shots of the movie with Benjamin until 12.45pm. We did not encounter any setbacks this evening – two problem-free shooting days in a row! Benjamin and Torsten were fantastic to work with as they adapted well to the personnel on location. A few neighbors were peeking through their curtains to catch a glimpse of the commotion but all in a friendly manner. They would later be approached by us for some help :)
