Shooting “One Ragged Hole” Sights The lack of a replacement rear sight blade for my old Ruger Blackhawk, sent me on a search for an alternative. I found “One Ragged Hole” rear sights, by Warren . They are a well made rear peep blade sight, The model for the Ruger Blackhawk, came with two rear sight blades with different size apertures. I found the accuracy was good, using .38 Special wad cutters, as the 25 foot target shows. With time, target acquisition seemed as normal. I believe finding the target was a little more difficult as compared to open top, notch style rear sight . At a price of six times that of the factory rear notch, they are not a bargain. If you like peep sights, you will like these. By Eric Nickless
