Shooting pool, drinking beer, playing golf, cutting lines at famous barbecue joints – all on a fundraising trip that saw him take heat for not visiting the border. Then he blames Republicans for not working with him, while admitting he’s been less than honest and tops it off by claiming he’s not that partisan a guy. Here is your “leader,” America..... I stand by this message as an active duty military member. This is corruption at its finest, if I were to lie to my naval superiors; under UCMJ, I would be literally hung out to dry. Many military members often face UCMJ charges due to improper comments via social media concerning our leader. Well if he has the right to perform these actions, then I have the right to say it is wrong. Yes I respect him as my commander in chief. Why would he want to eliminate executive powers. the executive branch is ultimately dependent upon the will of the legislature; although the legislature does not issue orders directly to the armed forces and therefore does not control the military in any operational sense. It just really frightens me that I am under total control of someone with such frivolous power.
